#HOWLFROMYOURHEART THIS GIVING DAY
Giving Day is an opportunity for all members of the Western Oregon University community to provide support to campus programs, funds, scholarships, organizations, and clubs. Each donation makes a difference and provides needed resources to the university, enabling deeper and more meaningful campus experiences for countless current and future students, faculty, and staff. Tuesday, March 5, 2024, is a day for alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and friends of Western Oregon University to #HowlfromtheHeart and build a brighter present and future for WOU!
Support the Wolves Softball Program
Western Oregon University Softball is a program on the upswing. After a strong fourth place GNAC finish in 2023, the Wolves are looking to continue their ascent on the conference standings this year. At the close of the 2023 season, pitcher Maddie Mayer and outfielders Katelyn McGough and Maddie Doig earned All-GNAC Second Team while pitchers Chelsea Smith and catcher Natalie Willoughby earned All-GNAC Honorable Mention. All five are back this year, making the Wolves a contender for the top of the GNAC standings. With former WOU standout pitcher Ally Boytz at the helm, WOU Softball has a bright future ahead of it! In the classroom, WOU softball is even more impressive than they are on the diamond, which is no mean feat. With eleven players named to the 2023 GNAC All-Academic Team, WOU Softball players are among the highest performing student-athletes at WOU and across GNAC. Help us raise our goal of $10,000 this year on Giving Day. Funds will be used to offset the costs of road trips, pay for needed equipment, and fund team scholarships. Your gift helps ensure the future success of Wolves Softball, on and off the diamond.
