#HOWLFROMYOURHEART THIS GIVING DAY
Giving Day is an opportunity for all members of the Western Oregon University community to provide support for campus programs, funds, scholarships, organizations, and clubs. Each gift, no matter its size, makes a difference and provides critical resources for the university, enabling deeper and more meaningful campus experiences for countless current and future students, faculty, and staff.
Tuesday, March 4, 2025, is a day for everyone – alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and friends of Western Oregon University – to #HowlfromtheHeart and build a brighter present and future for WOU.
Support the Wolves Softball Program
Western Oregon University Softball is a program on the upswing. After finishing fifth in the GNAC standings in 2024, the Wolves are looking to continue their ascent on the conference standings this year. At the close of the 2024 season, senior pitcher Mackenzee Collins was named GNAC Newcomer of the Year and was named to the All-GNAC First Team along with junior Kate Ronning. Catcher Natalie Willoughby and outfielder Victoria Zimmerman were named to the All-GNAC Second Team, while two other players were given honorable mentions. With the level of skill and talent exhibited in this past season, the future of WOU Softball is bright!
In the classroom, WOU softball is even more impressive than they are on the diamond, which is no mean feat. The team placed third in the 2024 GNAC Academic Awards and finished out the year with an overall GPA of 3.33.
Help us raise our goal of $10,000 this year on Giving Day. Funds will be used to offset the costs of road trips, pay for needed equipment, and fund team scholarships. Your gift helps ensure the future success of Wolves Softball, on and off the diamond.
