Giving Day is an opportunity for all members of the Western Oregon University community to provide support for campus programs, funds, scholarships, organizations, and clubs. Each gift, no matter its size, makes a difference and provides critical resources for the university, enabling deeper and more meaningful campus experiences for countless current and future students, faculty, and staff.
Tuesday, March 4, 2025, is a day for everyone – alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and friends of Western Oregon University – to #HowlfromtheHeart and build a brighter present and future for WOU.
Your Gift Supports
Western Oregon Mathematics Club aims to bring together Western Oregon University and the surrounding community. Math Club's biggest events of the year feature:
PI-Day Held March 14th (3/14), includes multiple fun events throughout the day including tabling, pie a professor, social events like dances/parties and so much more!
Estimathon is a combination of challenging critical thinking skills and teamwork. There are questions like: How far is the tip of the Eiffel Tower from the tip of the Statue of Liberty? What is the area of mass of the Pacific Ocean in square kilometers?
STEM Night An event to promote STEM to younger generations with hands-on activities to activate their minds. It is open to all local elementary schools within the Central school district. STEM night also includes Monmouth High School, City Hall, MI Library, MI Police Station, MI Fire Station, WOU Math Club, WOU Digital Gaming and more.
To continue WOU Math Club events for our college and community we need your help! Help us reach our $1,000 goal for our STEM Night in April! These funds will go towards booths for children to get hands-on experience in STEM fields!
